Dear Lord,

I pray for couples who are adjusting to parenthood, and all the parents who are experiencing a new season with their children.  May you equip us to raise these children according to your ways.  Fill us with your patience and peace that we may never hurt, harm, belittle, or exasperate our kids.  I pray that we would teach them who you are and how to live as you have called us to.  I pray that we would be energized by knowing that you gave us the responsibility to raise these children.  Please help us to adjust to parenthood and all that is  required of us.  Most of all please help us to trust you with our kids.  I pray that husbands and wives would not fight over children, or fight over ways of raising them, but rather submit to you in agreement.  I pray that these children would bind husbands and wives even stronger as a family.  May your will be done in all of our lives in Jesus name AMEN!

Dear Lord,

Thank you for our husbands.  Thank you for giving us the opportunity to love and bless someone so intimately. My prayer today is that we wives would seek to bless our husbands daily.  May we be aware of how to comfort them when they are down, bring joy into their lives, and be kind to them through our words and actions.  I pray that we would be like the woman described in Proverbs 31, never tiring of doing good for our husbands and family.  I pray for perseverance, I pray for energy, I pray for creativity, and I pray that in everything we do we do in love to glorify you in Jesus name AMEN!

Dear Lord,

Thank you for the gift of marriage.  I have been so blessed to experience all the different seasons of marriage, the easy and the hard.  I pray that as my relationship with my husband continues to grow deeper that I would have a desire to pursue him.  I pray that you would inspire creative ways to love him everyday.  May you also give him a desire to him to love me in great ways.  May our love be overflowing.  I also ask that your peace fills our hearts and covers our home in Jesus name AMEN!

Dear Dean,

Many thanks to God for you my love. Your God fearing charecter has been my inspiration. I would like to let you know that you are loved. Apart from the love of God in your life which is first and pure, I also give my love to you which emanates and radiates from the throne of God. You are the Man I love. I have never seen such a man in my life. God allows us to meet wrong people in life so that when HE GIVES us a right one we hold them so dearest, closest to our heart.

Love Your Wife,

This year has been one of the most rewarding and fulfilling years of my life!

Reflecting On 2012 my story reflecting Unveiled WifeIn January my husband and I celebrated our 5th Wedding Anniversary. We reminisced over the first 5 years of our marriage and chatted about what we hope to see in our future.  Spending quality time with my husband and communicating in an intimate way reaffirmed the love we share and confirmed the direction we were heading in our relationship. Dear Lord,

The days seem shorter and shorter as we schedule to do more and more.  Our lives are busy, so busy that we spend less quality time with our spouses.  I pray that we can reconnect after busy days.  Help my husband and I have the desire to prioritize special time for each other.  I pray that we have the energy to love extravagantly and to serve each other each and every day.  May our love grow deeper and richer as the days go by.  Lord, I pray for joy, abundant joy.  May you cover our marriage in every way, anoint our relationship that we may be a light to each other and to those around us in Jesus name AMEN!

Dear God,

Thank you for husbands.  Thank you for the purpose they have for us wives, to love us, provide for us, live life with us, and everything else they do.  Unfortunately, not all husbands are as committed to their marriage as you have called them to be.  We pray for those husbands right now.  Please convict their hearts and reveal to them the purpose they have in marriage.  Give them a desire to love and cherish their wives through the commitment of their vows.  Holy Spirit transform their character so that they will want to lead their family in God’s ways.  Please help husbands to not just remain committed, but to be extraordinary with every opportunity given in marriage to love as you love in Jesus name AMEN!

Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank you for taking time to direct my husband and I through life.  You have guided us through your will and we are so blessed to have experienced all that we have.  I pray that you continue to lead us, especially when we make decisions for our family.  Give us the strength we need to make decisions.  Even as you guide us, some decisions seem so hard to discern and follow through with, so I ask that you would give us confidence and strength to do your will.  Please make the decisions clear to both my husband and I so that we avoid arguing.  keep us on the same page of understanding.  May we both be sensitive to your Holy Spirit and may wisdom direct our path in Jesus name AMEN!

Dear Lord,

As I learn about marriage and draw closer to my husband, I realize the value in being completely honest and open in communication.  Being vulnerable is not easy for me to do, so I pray for courage.  Help me to be able to be open with my husband more often.  I pray that other wives would also strive to be open and vulnerable with their husbands.  As we relish in the love we have for our husbands and our husbands cherish our honesty, we encounter intimacy in our communication.  Please anoint us with the words to say and remove any fear that would hinder us from being vulnerable.  Please touch our husbands hearts so they respond to us gently with understanding.  May we experience depth in our conversations in marriage like never before in Jesus name we pray AMEN!

The Powerful Influence Of Marriage encouragements for wives Unveiled Wife

During almost six years of marriage I have witnessed the powerful influence of marriage.  My husband and I agree that our marriage is our first ministry and we are called to serve each other everyday.  We are aware that our actions towards each other are visible to others, and that we have the opportunity to exemplify Christ’s love through our marriage.  That’s powerful!

Marriage can influence people in great ways and I believe that if more couples spent quality time improving their relationship, learning how to serve each other, and love each other like Jesus loves, our culture and communities would be better!  I know many others would agree.

The influence marriage has is extraordinary and its time we tapped into it!
