Wife Prayer Of The Day

Dear Lord,

Please help us to rely on you more!  We are so easily distracted by the number in our bank account, or even by the jobs we have.  Help us not to trust in the world’s economy, but more importantly trust in your economy.  May your Holy Spirit fill us with wisdom in how to manage money, give us generous hearts, and teach us to not hang on to it so tightly.  We pray that their would be peace in our marriages, especially over finances!  May your presence keep us still, keep us calm, and keep us in your will.  As we make decisions with our spouses give us understanding.  We pray that our hearts our aligned with your will and that in our marriages we honor you with our finances in Jesus name AMEN!

Dear Lord,

I am so appreciative for another day to praise you!  You are a good God!  Thank you for my family and thank you for all that you have blessed us with.  I am so sorry for having so much discontent at times.  So often my circumstance seems to determine my attitude.  I take out my frustrations on my husband and I feel bad about doing that.  I pray that I would have more confidence in the hope you give me.  I pray for understanding for the hardship in our circumstances and that I can have a heart content even when life may not seem to be going my way.  I humble myself right now and ask that you help me with my attitude.  Give me joy and strength in Jesus name AMEN!

Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank you for today.  Thank you for my dear family and all that you have blessed me with.  I pray for my husband today.  May you fill him with your peace and strength.  I pray that his day goes great and that you are able to spend time with him.  Reveal yourself to him in marvelous ways Lord.  I pray that you guard his heart and his mind from the temptation in the world.  May you also soften my husband’s heart in response to me and our marriage.  May you soften my heart towards him.  I pray that any barriers be let down, that we would communicate better to each other, and that we would live as a team for you.  May you move through our marriage and may your will be done in Jesus name AMEN!

Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank you for our marriages. We pray that our marriages grow and prosper. May your power move mightily through us and renew our relationships! We pray for passion! We pray that our passion would be evident in life, especially through our prayers! Lord, may your Holy Spirit anoint each one of us so that we can be the spouse you have called us to be. Please remind us daily to pray over our spouse. May more and more husbands and wives trust in you and pray daily in Jesus name AMEN!

Dear Heavenly Father,

You are so good and your love endures forever!  Thank you for your lovingkindness!  I honor you and I praise you O Lord!  I lift up my husband and I to you and ask that you would prepare us to be parents.  Please give us patience, wisdom, and the ability needed to raise this child you have gifted to us.  I also pray for other couples who are new to parenthood!  May your power manifest within them, anoint them, give them strength to endure everyday trusting that they are capable because you are with them.  Thank you for this honor to be a parent!  May this opportunity to raise up leaders for you never be wasted in Jesus name AMEN!

Dear Lord,

Thank you for my husband.  I am so thankful that I have a best friend to experience life with.  You know the details of our marriage Lord, and you know that we often times get frustrated with each other.  Please help us to be merciful and forgiving towards one another.  I especially pray that I would have grace with my husband.  Remind me that no one is perfect, that my husband will not meet my every expectation, and that he will be the source of pain at times.  Guard my heart and protect me, but also help me to love my husband unconditionally, just as you love me.  I pray that you transform our hearts and draw us close to you and closer to each other in Jesus name AMEN!

Dear Lord,

I pray for wives today.  I pray that their hearts would be filled with peace.  So often we are lead by our emotions.  We react and respond when we really just need to be still, and rest in you.  Holy Spirit please give us self-control so that we can be better wives.  I pray that we will overcome our sensitivity instead of being overwhelmed by it.  You designed us a certain way and we need to embrace it all with a healthy balance.  Lord, guide and lead us on as strong, confident women, wives who live for you and are willing to serve our husbands in Jesus name AMEN

Dear God,

My heart is burdened for husbands and wives who are separated or who are contemplating separation.  I pray over their hearts, asking you to soften them.  Bring peace to their minds and may your power fill them with wisdom and strength.  I pray for reconciliation.  May you restore their marriages, establish them with your grace, and show them how they can be better than ever.  I pray that these husbands and wives would continue in faith, believing that reconciliation is possible!  Give them hope!  Send in encouragement for them daily!  Please mend their brokenness, heal their hurts and pains.  May your will be done in their lives in Jesus name AMEN!

Dear Lord,

We lift up our marriages to you right now.  Everyday seems like a new day for the enemy to attack.  Relationships can be awesome one moment and volatile the next.  We pray protection over our marriages.  May your power strike down the assaults of the enemy.  May you protect us in our vulnerability.  Make our marriage relationships strong, so that we can stand against the enemy together.  Lord, may your will be done in our lives and through our marriages.  We pray that we would honor you, thank you, and serve you every day that you give to us.  Soften our hearts towards each other and fill us with wisdom.  Although sin and temptation crouch at our doorstep, help us to overcome in Jesus name AMEN!

Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank you for having grace with me, every moment of every day.  I realize that my attitude does not show the trust or the joy I have in you and for that I am sorry.  I pray that I can have an attitude of gratitude, where thankfulness precedes my every action, word, and thought.  Holy Spirit please refine me.  Fill me with your righteousness and transform my heart.  I surrender all to you Lord!  I pray that I can especially have a thankful heart towards my husband.  When we are together or apart, may my words be affirming and my heart overflowing with joy.  I pray over our marriage, asking that you guide us Lord.  Lead us into holiness and show us how to extend grace to one another in Jesus name AMEN!
