Dear Lord,

Thank you for this day you have made.  Thank you for my family and thank you for the breath in my lungs.  I am so grateful for all that you have given to me and all that I have experienced in you!  You are a good God!  Your lovingkindness overwhelms my heart with peace.  I pray over my marriage right now.  I pray that you would continue to guide my husband and I, maturing us and transforming us to be more like you.  I pray that we able to talk to each other more gently and respond with grace.  May your power flow through us giving us self-control to be faithful and responsible.  I also pray that we can experience more quality time together.  I pray that we can escape for a date or a random outing of exploration.  I pray that we laugh and love more.  Fill our hearts with joy and help our attitudes be easy going in Jesus name AMEN!

Dear Lord,

Thank you for encouraging me just when I need it most.  Thank you for giving me hope, peace, and an increase in faith.  I pray that others will run to you in times of need and realize that you are absolute truth.  I pray they receive the same hope for healing in Jesus.  I pray that their hearts are mended and their marriages fulfilled.  Restore them O Lord, Redeemer and Rock!  Your grace is sufficient, your mercy is great, and your strength carries me through weakness!  Transform my heart and make me like you.  Help me to be a wife of noble character, who loves, likes, and cares for her husband.  Teach me how to serve him humbly and satisfy his needs unselfishly.  Show me how to be his helper and companion in Jesus name I pray, Amen!

Dear Lord,

Thank you for my best friend, my husband!  I love and appreciate him so much!  I am in awe of how you have orchestrated our lives.  Please continue to guide us through marriage.  I pray that we would have a heart to learn more about our relationship and how we can better it.  I pray that that our companionship would experience more adventures, share more laughter, inspire more intimacy, and encourage more growth.  I want a love that is deep and rich, one that is strong and one that is enduring! Please help my husband and I to lighten up around each other.  Give us a sense of humor that joins us together like never before.  Help us to be there for each other both confidentiality, transparency and comfort.  Remind us everyday that our time on earth is short and that we need to take advantage of every opportunity to love abundantly.   Thank you Lord for this gift of companionship!  In your name I pray AMEN!

Dear Lord,

We come before you and humbly ask you to reveal your will for our lives.  We want to be sure that the decisions we are making align with your plan for us! Holy Spirit please guide us, anoint our decisions, speak to us, and show us God’s will.  If we start to turn from your awesome will, please direct us back to what you have for us.  We pray that you speak to us and confirm for us in those moments that seem quiet, still, or silent.  Give us the strength and the faith to wait on you God!  May husbands and wives encourage and comfort each other as they follow you together in Jesus name AMEN!

Dear God,

Thank you so much for my husband.  Thank you for our marriage and the work of progress that it is.  I pray that my husband submits to you daily.  I pray that he thirst for you.  I pray that he spends time with you, praying and reading you holy Word.  May you transform him to be like you.  Please refine his character and inspire him to work on our marriage every day.  Holy Spirit lead him as he leads our family.  Use me to affirm and encourage him.  May my words lift him up and show him respect.  I pray that other marriages would be encouraged by our marriage reflecting your love and heart for marriage.  May you bless my husband and show me how to bless him in Jesus name!

Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank you for the gift of marriage.  Thank you for the heart my husband has and the joy we share together.  I appreciate him for so many things and characteristics that he has!  Please bless my husband in great ways!  I pray over our marriage.  I ask that your Holy Spirit continue to guide us daily, transforming us to be more like you, having self-control and the ability to see needs and fulfill them. I pray protection over our relationship from the threats of this world.  I also pray that my husband and I experience more!  More intimacy, more joy, more moments of laughter, communication, and learning.  I pray for your will to be done in Jesus name AMEN!

Thank you for our marriages!  We pray for them and ask that you would continue to guide us through them.  We pray that we can verbally affirm our husbands daily.  Give us words of encouragement to share that will uplift them.  We also pray that our husbands will verbally affirm us.  Anoint their tongues, inspiring them to speak sweetly to us.  We pray that communication within our relationships will grow and mature into a beautiful harmony rich with encouragement in Jesus name AMEN!

Dear Lord,

There are so many opportunities to be tempted.  Everyday is a battle against the enemy to stand for you and to stand for marriage.  Please help us to be aware of temptation and to be able to flee from it.  Help us not to even entertain the thought of temptation.  Holy Spirit give us a supernatural strength and self-control to resist the enemy and turn from temptation.  Guard our hearts and our minds in Christ Jesus! Amen

Dear Lord,

We lift up marriages to you today.  We thank you for every husband and wife, asking that you inspire them to be intentional in their relationships.  Remind them and encourage them to pray for and with each other daily.  Give all of us a great desire to sharpen each other through your Word, and the courage to pray fervently.  You are an awesome God! You lead us to be like you and your Holy Spirit transforms us, equipping us to be disciples!  Please help us to have spiritual friendships with our spouse in Jesus name AMEN!

I love my marriage!  I love my husband and I love the life we share.  So often intimacy gets pushed aside because of time, illness, loss of energy, and the list goes on.  Please help me to initiate intimacy in our marriage more often.  I understand that my husband needs to be fulfilled by me and I want to satisfy him, I just need help to remember and be motivated to try.  Help both of us to make time for each other, to make intimacy a priority in our marriage.  May your power fulfill this area of our lives in Jesus name AMEN!
