Dear Heavenly Father,

Your grace is so powerful.  Your love is beautiful.  Your presence is peaceful.  Thank you for today, for giving us time, for giving us precious life to do your will, and for giving us people to love.  Sometimes my own skewed perspective of myself hinders me from doing things. I need courage.  I need to be less insecure.  Please deliver me from my insecurities.  Lord, I ask that you help me to view myself as you see me.  I pray that I will see myself as valuable, worthy, lovely, and beautiful.  I pray for myself and for others who battle insecurities.  Be our strength and help us overcome in Jesus name AMEN!

Dear Lord,

There are many of us who are hindered by laziness.  We pray against the force that weighs us down or convinces us we should not even try.  Please motivate us and encourage us to do the very things we know we are responsible for.  Please help us to fight laziness.  Although, for those who are exhausted we do pray for adequate rest.  Help us to find balance in life.  Holy Spirit guide us.  We commit our daily actions to you God, asking that you move through us and do incredible things through us!  Empower us, strengthen us, and fill our hearts with passion,  in Jesus name we pray AMEN!

Dear Lord,

We pray for anyone who is suffering abuse.  Please protect them, remove abuse from their life, and restore the damage that has been done.  Let your power heal their hearts and bring comfort to them.  Please renew their spirit and help them not to fear.  Rebuild trust and confidence.  Help victims of abuse to regain strength, courage, and hope for better days.  May your Holy Spirit cover them in Jesus name AMEN!

Dear God,

Please bless my husband today.  Affirm him through me, people at work, children, or other people in his life.  May your peace fill his heart.  I pray that you reveal understanding and wisdom to him.  Continue to grow him, mature him, and mold him into the man you have called him to be.  I pray that he would excel in his job, and that he would not hesitate to help or serve others along the way.  I pray that our communication deepens, that we would share more often the things on our heart.  I pray that we would pursue each other more passionately and that we would experience more intimacy.  Help me to explore my husband, to love him extravagantly, and to encourage him daily.  May you bless him richly in Jesus name AMEN!

Dear Heavenly Father,

This world is crazy, chaotic, and quick.  Everything is fast pace, problems compile, issues simmer, and there seems to be no time to address much of anything, let alone just rest.  We pray that in our culture and in the time we have, we would make it a priority to rest in your peace.  To take a break from the never-ending transitions we face, to appreciate life to the fullest.  To experience the beauty of creation, the detailed craftsmanship of others and their relationships, to explore with our senses, and find joy in the stillness.  Your power rejuvenates, your soft whispers encourage, your comfort is warming to the soul, and your presence is overwhelmingly powerful.  However, we will miss out if we don’t stop to rest and soak it up.  Please up us to make time to seek you daily.  Thank you Lord for your love.  You truly are amazing and you have gifted me much more than I deserve.  May you be blessed by my life, and may I be blessed by yours.  AMEN!

Dear Lord,

I know all too well the pain of depression.  The darkness that creeps around, tormenting, and affecting everything in life.  I know the weight of stress that sits n the chest, pushing pressure in a test to find the threshold.  The absence of joy is more painful than just sadness, and I hope that anyone who experiencing a joyless life would find healing.  My hope is that women, especially wives, who are depressed, would be able to seek counsel, encouragement, and freedom.  Please send trustworthy people into their lives, most importantly their husbands, who will love unconditionally and without judgement.  We stand in faith and against the powers of darkness, claiming that depression would no longer hinder lives, control people, or diminish joy.  May the power of your grace impact us in such a way that depress has no hold.  We pray for freedom in Jesus Holy Name AMEN!

God,

Since the beginning of time, you have created us with the ability to be a parent.  Some people may not have a strong desire to be a parent, but for those of us who do, we submit our desire before you.  We pray that your will is done and in your timing.  Help us to patient, trusting that you are preparing us for that day.  For those who have been trying to conceive or those who have lost their children, please comfort their hearts.  Reveal understanding to their situations and remind them that all things work good for those that love you!  You are our Father, you are a loving parent, you even endured losing your son, and I don’t know if we can comprehend the depths of what you have felt.  But you have given us the same opportunity to experience a role, that you yourself know very well.  Please teach us how to be a good parent, and raise our children in your ways in Jesus name AMEN!
