Wife Prayer Of The Day

Dear Heavenly Father,

I pray right now for your grace to cover all of us.  I pray that you would free anyone from the guilt that they feel. Guilt from something that has happened by accident and where no one is at fault, yet the weight of guilt burdens.  The enemy uses guilt to condemn and depress people.  He uses is it as a tool for destruction.  I pray for your redemption to reverse his coercive acts.  May your will be done and may you mend whatever the situation is that is the source of guilt.  Thank you Lord for grace, thank you for your healing, thank you for your power, and thank you for your Holy Spirit!  I lift up wives to you asking that you comfort them and empower them to have a joy filled day in Jesus name AMEN!

Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank you for my husband!  Thank you for the love that we share.  I pray that our love continues to grow, mature, and deepen as we continue to remain passionate about living out our vows to each other.  I pray that I would be an encouraging wife.  That every day I would take time to affirm my husband through my words, body language and attitude. May your Holy Spirit inspire me with different ways to do this, may creativity motivate my desire to bless my husband in this way.  I pray that through my actions my husband would see the respect I have for him and be encouraged to love me all the more.  Thank you Lord for our marriage.  May we glorify you in Jesus name AMEN!

Dear Lord,

I pray for all the wives who have decided to commit to a forty day fast for marriage!  May you empower us to exercise self-control as we sacrifice in remembrance of all that you sacrificed for us.  We come before your throne and lay down our sacrifices at your feet as an offering.  May you hear our prayers and requests.  I pray that during this fast you would move in our marriages in amazing ways, incredible ways.  I pray that marriages are restored and renewed!  May your will be done in our lives and in our marriages in Jesus name AMEN!

Dear Lord,

Thank you for today.  Thank you for my life and for my husband’s life.  Thank you also for all that you have given us.  I know this is random, but thank you for our bed.  Our bed has always been a safe place for me… like my sanctuary!  Whenever I seem to have a rough day, just one glance at my bed reminds me that rest is on the horizon, sweet rest that replenishes my soul.  I don’t want to take anything I have for granted, even my bed.  I pray that no matter what happens in my marriage, our bed will always remain a safe place.  A place of good rest, a place of intimacy, and a place that my husband and I can spend time in together to just relax.  I pray for husbands and wives also, may you give them peace and lots of rest in Jesus name AMEN!

Dear God,

Thank you for your provision.  You always provide for us and fulfill our needs!  We are incredibly thankful and we rejoice giving you praise!  We pray over our finances right now, asking that you help us manage them righteously.  May we be good stewards of all that you give to us.  We pray that husbands and wives would be in agreement on how money is spent and that they submit to one another in deciding their budget.  May money never cause tension in our marriages, or be a source of pain.  We pray that money would not entrap our hearts.  May we use our money wisely in Jesus name AMEN!

Dear Lord,

I pray for marriages today.  May you protect them from the attacks of the enemy.  Guard the hearts of husbands and wives, help them to flee from temptation, and to center their marriage on you!  I pray that husbands and wives would find joy in rejoicing together.  May they be able to give thanks for things in their life and express gratitude. I pray that they would especially rejoice for each other!  May they find specific things about each other and share reasons why they are thankful.  Please help us to integrate rejoicing together into an every day occurrence in Jesus name AMEN!

Dear Lord,

I love my husband so much.  He is incredible and he is my best friend.  I know that I don’t always respect him as you have called me to.  I am so sorry for this.  Please help me to always respect my husband, in and out of his presence, with my words and my actions.  I desire to be a noble wife.  And my husband should feel my respect for him. Transform my heart and make me new!  Make me more like you Jesus!  I pray that other wives would pray this and ask for help to respect their husbands in Jesus name AMEN!

Dear Heavenly Father,

I pray for wives today.  May your Holy Spirit anoint us!  I pray that you would inspire us daily to be the best we can.  May you transform us, removing any bad habits or characteristics that do not yield fruit.  Prune us so that we may flourish!  I pray that you would empower to be amazing wives!  Help us to love and respect our husbands.  I also ask that you would help us to initiate more.  May our intimacy be ignited!  Help us to be selfless lovers!  Thank you for guiding us and encouraging us everyday in our role as wives.  You are so good and your mercy endures forever.  I pray that every wife praying this prayer would feel your peace and be filled with courage in Jesus name AMEN!

Dear Lord,

Thank you for my husband.  I am so blessed to have him in my life.  I am so sorry that sometimes I am not patient with him.  I snap at him when I get frustrated or overwhelmed and he doesn’t deserve that.  I need to respect him by being patient with him.  Please help me to have self-control in this area of my life.  I pray for wisdom and I ask that you make me aware of having patience.  Transform my heart O God, let me be a person of peace, full of joy and tranquility.  I pray that every response towards my husband and others would be coated in patience in Jesus name AMEN!

Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank you so much for my life!  Thank you for the gifts and the blessings you have poured into my life.  Thank you for your provision and your love for me and my family.  I love you Lord and I trust in you!  I pray that I can overcome the fear and worry that some days overwhelm me.  I know I need to rely on you in my moments of weakness, but sometimes I forget.  Please help me to be stronger.  Help me to push out of my mind fear and worry.  The only one I desire to fear is you!  Please calm my heart and remind me daily not to fear in Jesus name AMEN!
