Collecting Marriage Memories

Collecting Marriage Memories encouragements for wives Unveiled Wife

Whenever I ask my husband if there is anything he wants, something I can gift to him, his answer is always the same:

“You know me babe.  I like to collect memories, not things!”

He would rather experience life with me than acquire tangible things.  He finds value in the memories we make in marriage and I would have to agree with him!

The memories we make together fills our heart with thankfulness for each other.

Check out my article on The Better Mom today as I encourage others to Collect Memories Not Things!

So in this season of thankfulness, cheer and giving… what memories are you going to collect with your spouse?

What are you and your husband thanking God for?

Go on walks, check out Christmas lights, drink homemade hot chocolate! Maybe find a family to bless and put a basket together for them! Check out ideas on Pinterest :)

Hey Jennifer!  I know exactly what you mean about collecting more memories, not things.  I’ve been struggling with this concept for Christmas with my family.  My husband and I are tired of just getting more “stuff” that we don’t really need for Christmas and would rather just get together and enjoy being together.  I told my sisters this but I’m not sure they are quite on the same page yet.  Any suggestions for new Christmas ideas to do as a family rather than the seemingly endless supply of un-needed stuff?
