Inspiration – Are Wives Moving Mountains?

Are you actively throwing mountains into the sea or are you trying to climb over them?

Think of mountains as trials or barricades, standing in your way!  They are huge, overwhelmingly huge, and it may even seem impossible to get past… but we have something bigger than the mountains in our life, we have Jesus!  Our faith in Jesus can get us through any trial in our life.  Jesus says we can basically pick it up and toss it to the side.  He makes it sound so simple:)

Its all about perspective!  We can look at the mountain with worry, stress and complain; some of us may even try climbing the mountain, wasting energy and taking more time out of your day than you really need to spend on it.  We should be able to see mountains as Jesus does, a tangible, weightless, moveable object that can be cast aside.

It is dependent on our faith!  Is our faith in God greater than the trial?

Jesus says, “If you believe you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer!”  Its time we start believing and praying!  Speak to the trials in your life and let them know that YOUR GOD IS BIGGER! Amen?!

Here are a few trials that marriages can face:

-Financial unstability

-In-laws

-Lack of Intimacy

-Addictions

Add in the comments the mountain you are facing in marriage and a prayer to cast it into the sea:)

Our marriage has several trials to fast into the sea! One is my being injured on a job and my mental well being keeps me from working. So I take meds for pain & depression. I have been taking, more meds for pain to cope or cover up feelings caused by my marriage. Things are getting better in that respect but finances are another hurdle. Then we have 5 children ages 12, 12, 14, 16, &17 boy girl & the rest boys. Blended family as well. We have started christian marriage counseling which is helping. Although I walked out of last session early. The counselor was asking me what if God never answered my prayers for my husband to meet his potential in his walk with the Lord. I just couldn’t understand where on earth this Supossed christian counselor was coming from. I know God answers prayers. I don’t expect my husband to turn into some preacher man. Just follow what the bible says or at least try to be q biblical husband. As I do my best being a biblical wife. Any suggestions?

Well me and my husband are getting ready to move back east.. Away from certain family members, and, although we are excited about it all, and very anxious we are leaving our comfort zone, and starting a new life fresh..  So i just pray that all that we are  about to do, will be the right direction, and path for us, to succed our dreams, and goals.. thanks

I have been praying for Andy’s salvation for 19 years, he knows the truth, he was raised in church and christian school.  He left me for two years in 2004, then we were together again briefly in 2006 and our divorce was final in 2008.  However, I continue to pray for his salvation and the restoration of our family, we have two kids ages 19 & 11.  He is currently living with a woman in Florida and we in Arkansas, but I do believe God can save him and restore what the locusts have eaten.
