Letter To My Husband – I’m Crying Writing This

Dear Dennis,

I’ve never really written or told you how I truly feel about you. When I was growing up I always imagined the man that I would end up with, I really didn’t expect too much I just knew that I wanted to get out of my home and have a better life. I just wanted someone who wouldn’t treat me the way my mother was treated. I moved over here and met man after man and was slowly becoming a very bad person. Little did I know that I was about to meet my best friend and true love. I never thought I deserved someone like you. I always thought I’d end up settling. We went through some really hard times and at the end of everything I realized that your love for me never went away. You have turned me into a better person and have shown me that I am worth something. I’m crying writing this because I love you so much and you have no idea what you mean to our children and me. You are such a hard worker, a wonderful provider, a great father and an even better husband. Yes we have issues, but you have never given up on me even when I deserved it. I don’t want you to ever think that you aren’t good enough because you are more than what I could have ever dreamt of. You believe in me, no one else has. You think I’m beautiful and love me when I’m at my worst. My mom said she prayed through my entire childhood for a good husband for me and I can’t image a better match than you. For everything that you do, thank you. I would say “I do” all over again without thinking twice. I am truly proud of the man that you are and that I get to call you my husband and my children’s father. I love you so much and I cannot wait to see what our life will continue to bring.

Love Andrea
