Prayer Of The Day – Enjoying Marriage

Dear Heavenly Father,

We lift up our marriages today.  Thank you for our spouses and all that we have endured together.  We pray that no matter what happens in life our marriage withstands storms and our hearts experience joy.  Show us how to laugh more, how to loosen up, how to make fun of ourselves and how to appreciate those moments of great happiness.  We pray that we are aware of when those moments are happening and that we are able to adjust to enjoy them.  Holy Spirit guide us, teaching us how to live life abundantly, searching for all the small gifts that you give along the way.  Help us to exhale, and take a moment to laugh with our spouse, being funny just to be funny in Jesus name we pray AMEN!
