Prayer Of The Day – Finding Common Hobbies

Dear Lord,

I lift up husbands and wives who feel separated in their interests or hobbies.  I pray that you will help them to discover things that they can enjoy doing together!  You are a creative designer and you create with purpose.  You divinely made us with the intent to experience the joy of companionship.  I pray that couples will be able to share moments of bliss participating in hobbies together.  I pray that in my own marriage my husband and I are able to communicate about the hobbies we like or dislike, and find ones that we can do together that will enrich our relationship.  I pray that our hobbies glorify you and celebrate your truth.  May you guide all of us and teach us how to compromise as we journey through marriage in Jesus name AMEN!
