Prayer Of The Day – Giving My Marriage To God

God,

I come before you and surrender my whole life to you.  I ask that your Holy Spirit guide me, fulfilling your will through me.  May I bless you in all my ways and may your name be glorified!  I also give you my marriage.  There are parts of my marriage I wish to change, but I know that it will never happen unless we allow you to change our hearts.  Please move mightily through our relationship, transform us, and use us to be a testimony of your grace and redeeming love in Jesus name AMEN!

    Hi Jennifer. He doesn’t want to go for counselling or help. He says it is worthless as there is nothing left in our marriage. For me, God has brought us together for a reason. We took our vows in front of God, and now he just wants to give up. I can’t even explain the other reason that involve our son Seth. I have been praying everyday, for my husband to have a change of heart or open up his mind in at least trying to make us work. But, I can’t force him. I have left this situation in God’s hands.
    Your website has restored me, and has given some sort of peace throughout this whole ordeal!! Thank you so much!!
    Ps. I hope the pregnancy is going really well!! Having a baby is God’s way of showing us His little miracles:-)

    Marsha Neely,this would be devastating new to anyone, like my self am also married with to kids, especially when there is kids involute and being married for such a short time, being successful in leaning on the Lord ,am praying that the lord will restore your hold life, and bring peace into your married,

    Lee-Anne, I am so sorry to hear all that you are going through. Is there any way you can ask him to go to counseling or meet up with a mentor from church? I am praying for you and your husband. I am praying that the Lord will give you peace, guide you in what to do, and restore your relationship.

    Three weeks ago, my husband told me he wants a divorce. Shocked, and not knowing why, I had to leave my home, and move back in with my parents and our 13month old son. I was devastated. At first I thought maybe he was having an affair.. But he wasn’t. I really need help and support on how to open up my husband’s heart and mind into making our marriage work. Especially for the fact that we haven’t been married for 2 years yet. I am sad, and feel so worthless!!
