Prayer Of The Day – Increasing Our Love

Dear Lord,

Thank you for your overwhelming love for us!  Thank you for my life and the grace you have extended.  Your gifts are amazing and they help me see that you see me as worthy.  We lift up our marriages to you and ask that you would guide us.  May your Holy Spirit lead us through this life and enable us to share your gospel with those around us.  May you increase our love, that we may genuinely love extravagantly! Inspire us to love our husbands more, to respect our husbands more and to serve our husbands more.  May our marriages reflect your love in Jesus Name AMEN!

    Amen.  The amazing thing about God’s love, if we really allow it to penetrate our souls, is that it empowers us to love and respect our husbands more.  And the amazing thing about loving and respecting our husbands in a godly way, if we allow God to work in our marriages, is that our husbands can’t help but love and cherish more to serve us as well.  What a beautiful and inspiring thing to see a true marriage sanctified by God’s love! =)
