Dear Heavenly Father,
We lift up our marriages to you today. We ask that your Holy Spirit guide us in our actions and responses to our spouses. We pray that we can have self-control when we are angry and we do not use past mistakes to hurt our husbands. Please help us to truly forgive and have grace. We also pray that our husbands would do the same and leave our past in the past. May you be glorified in our marriages, which comes as we love unconditionally. Help us to remember that all sin and fall short and that grace is needed so very much! Soften our hearts Lord, do not allow rage or frustration to bring up stuff that has already been dealt with, help us not to manipulate or put down our spouse. Help us to love like your Son! AMEN!
