Prayer Of The Day – Peace In The Home

Dear Lord,

I lift up marriages to you right now.  May you anoint husbands and wives.  May your Holy Spirit guide them and teach them how to be more and more loving, compassionate, gracious, and kind.  I pray that wives would be loved and cherished.  I pray husbands would be respected.  Let your peace fall on our homes and fill each of our hearts, calming our minds, helping us to endure with strength.  Please help us to have self-control when we speak and act.  Equip us and transform our character to be like yours in Jesus name AMEN!
