Prayer Of The Day – Rebuilding Trust In Marriage

Dear Lord,

Marriage is such an incredible gift you have given to us to experience.  Unfortunately, our sinful nature makes marriage difficult, challenging, and oftentimes painful.  May your love and grace cover our sins and transform our hearts, that we may be filled with your righteousness.  May we learn to extend that same love and grace to our spouses.  We specifically pray over couples who have allowed sin to cripple their marriage relationship.  We pray for reconciliation and we pray that you would heal their broken hearts.  Please help them to rebuild trust with their spouse, may your Holy Spirit help them to forgive, and may their marriage be renewed in Jesus name AMEN!
