Prayer Of The Day – Resolving Conflict In Marriage

Dear Lord,

We thank you marriage and the purpose it has in refining us.  We lift up any and all marriages that are facing conflict and ask for your Holy Spirit to help resolve it.  Please guide both husbands and wives in how they respond to each other.  May your peace fall upon them.  May your power humble them and show them how to resolve the conflict.  Please protect them from hurting each other or from hurting themselves.  We pray that your will is done in Jesus name AMEN!

    My husband and I are both Christians, but the evil one is attacking our marriage. We never seem to resolve conflict without an aggravated argument, with me screaming at him and him punching a hole in the door, we also argue in front of our 9 month old little boy, and this hurts me more than anything.  I have a past that I am not proud of, and he had a very clean past compared.  My life has changed and when we met I had to lie about a couple of things as I was embarrased to tell him, he got it out of me, and he said he felt like killing himself, he says nobody has ever made him feel so angry.  We were so in love and now it just feels different. We both need to spend for time in the Word and ask God for guidance, we can do this, I know we can

    Hi Rebecca,
    I am so glad you husband recieved Christ in his life & his heart, but when we do this the Devil get mad. it means he does’nt have control over our evil ways we had before we walk over to be w/ Christ. The suggestion I would give is when the Devil steps in your life you ask the Mighty Father in Heaven to rebuke in Devil & ask him to st0back & stay away. Also I will pray for you both, & just keep your eyes on Jesus. Both of you just be obeindent, loyal, & faithful to God & you get a flowing of blessings. God Bless both of you.

    My husband re-dedicated his life to Christ and since then we have been “attacked” by the evil one. I pray our Armour everyday! I praise God that my husband doesn’t give up as he is taking baby steps in his walk with Christ each day. I need prayer warriors to pray for us, our marriage, our finances, a job for my husband. We just found out that we have to move and no place or money to do this.

    Im prayin god moves on ur behalf im going through somewhat similiar situation but im not ready to give in I love my husband. So I say be steadfast in prayer and know God answers prayer.

    Please keep my husband and myself in all of your prayers.  It seems no matter what I do he is always mad at me.  I do not know whether I am coming or going.  I am trying my hardest to just keep praying but I feel as though it just keeps getting worse.  I am sad and out of words.  I pray for God’s strength for our marriage.  I could really use some encouragement……. I do not know what is the matter because if I ask if he is o.k. he just gets really angry.
