Resources For Wives   things i love encouragements for wives    resources for wives resources for marriage link up Finances In Marriage    Unveiled WifeBeing a wife has its moments.  We often face challenges or tests that stretch us beyond our comfort zones and pushes us far past our threshold of anxiety.  Each of us encounter different experiences and respond to each differently, yet in some great way pieces of our stories are relatable.

For so long I felt trapped thinking I was the only one struggling in my role as a wife.  I wanted to grow and be inspired to fulfill my part in my marriage, but I was clueless on where to search or how to get connected.  I do not want you to feel the way I was feeling, so I have compiled a few resources for you to explore when you have time!

The first two are right here in the Unveiled Wife Community:

The Forum – where you can join in conversations, voice your opinions, and connect with awesome women.

Book & Movie Reviews – where you can get a glimpse of some awesome marriage tools to help build Christ centered marriages.

These next few are beautiful blogs that inspire women daily, including a range of topics from parenting, home-making, and being a wife:

Women Living Well – Courtney blogs on Faith, strong marriages, parenting and homemaking.  She is an inspiration to many women and has great articles on everything from homeschooling her children, to dinner recipes, to video blogs on being a godly wife! Time-Warp Wife – Darlene, author of The Good Wife’s Guide, also has great articles on her blog.  The purpose of her ministry is to encourage wives to love their husbands and children, and to live as the women God created them to be.  She has categories including marriage, parenting, and she even has free printables!

Roomag – By Candace Cameron Bure is an online magazine has many contributors that discuss a wide variety of topics that encourage and inspire women of all ages.

(In)courage – This is another great community of women who are dedicated to uplifting the everyday wife, mom, and woman.  You can easily get connected to other women to discuss important issues through their community forum.

To Love, Honor and Vacuum: No pretensions, just real marriage, and real solutions – Sheila Wray Gregoire has a passion for marriage! She is the author of The Good Girl’s Guide to Great Sex. Visit her page for blogs on marriage, funny videos, links to interesting parenting articles, and more!

The Marriage Bed – A site dedicated to answering the tough questions of intimacy in marriage!  A safe place for married Christians to talk about sex.

 

Here are a few sites that are focused on being a mommy :

The Better Mom- This is another great site full of contributors (myself included:)) Their mission is to build God-honoring homes by inspiring moms to be better moms through sharing life and learning together.  Find them on Facebook as well http://www.facebook.com/thebettermom

Mom Heart – This is a site any mom can go to for encouragement! You can find articles on parenting that are relatable and inspiring.

See Jane Advocate: A busy mom’s practical guide to social justice – My friend Courtney is passionate about being a mom who is actively teaching her children how to make the world a better place.  She provides easy and quick ways to be a mom and an advocate for change in the world!  Here is an article for pregnant mommies Be The Match – Part 2

Don’t allow your role as a wife to frustrate you, bring you down, or give you a headache!  I hope that these resources inspire you to see your role as a wife as a positive challenge to be creative, to explore, to realize you are not alone, and to encourage a Godly relationship between you and your husband!
