Recently a reader in our community sent me a link to the video posted below.  It is a compilation of three men sharing on marriage: Paul Washer, John Piper, Voddie Baucham.  It is a great reminder of how God desires us to endure in marriage, for better or worse.

Prayer Of The Day – Being A Wife Of Godly Character

Dear Lord,

Thank you so much for my life.  Thank you for the grace you have given to me.  You have changed my life and I am so grateful.  I pray for wisdom, I pray for understanding, and I pray for knowledge.  May you continue to transform my heart, removing the negative patterns in my life and breaking the chains of bondage.  Fill me with your righteousness and help me to be a wife of noble character.  I pray that I would have more self-control, especially over the way I respond to my husband.  Help me to love my husband extravagantly.  Inspire me to find new ways to show him I appreciate him and honor him.  I pray that our marriage would continue to grow, closer to you and closer to each other in Jesus name AMEN!
