Marriage Prayers Daily

Marriage Prayer: Praying for your marriage is essential to having a thriving marriage and to seeing Gods power in your marriage. Each of these prayers are specifically written to lift up your marriage to the lord. Prayer is the gift God gave us to be able to have direct access to His throne room to communicate with Him.

These marriage prayers are purposed to encourage and guide you as you pray for specific aspects of your husband’s life and character. My hope is that this marriage resource motivates you to intentionally pray and petition for your husband and your marriage on a daily basis through the power of prayer.

Please pray them over your marriage and husband.

Prayer Of The Day – Thinking Of My Husband’s Needs

Dear Lord, I can be extremely selfish. I am so sorry. Please help me think of my husband’s needs more often and inspire the creativity and courage to fulfill them. Prayer Of The Day – Break The Addictions

Dear Lord, You are amazing! Thank you for your love and thank you for your mercy which you extend to me. I am in awe of you Lord. As I rest in you, my heart is in anguish for people who are without rest because of addictions. I pray that you would break those strongholds of addiction right now in Jesus name! I claim freedom for any wife or husband who is abusing alcohol, drugs, pornography, sex, food, or any other thing that is placed as an idol in their lives. By the power of your Holy Spirit, anoint them at this very moment. Sober their minds and heal their bodies. I pray that they can take a stand to let go of those addictions

Prayer Of The Day – Wives Who Need Friends

Dear Lord, I have always struggled with making new friends. I become intimidated of other women and I compare myself, believing reasons why I am not good enough to be someone’s friend. I am so sorry for being so insecure. Please be my confidence! I also know I am not the only one. I pray for wives like me who find it challenging to make friends, yet friendships are so important. May you give us the strength and wisdom we need to establish healthy friendships with other wives. Inspire us to encourage and lift one another up in Jesus name AMEN!

Prayer Of The Day – Humility Is Needed To Reconcile

Dear Heavenly Father, Thank you for today. I pray that I can better serve you today than I did yesterday. I pray that my eyes would see your blessing and your presence. I pray that I would be considerate of your will. May my character reflect yours. Holy Spirit teach me and refine me, please. My husband and I have been fighting over little things lately. Our attitudes are driving us farther apart. I am realizing just how much humility is required to reconcile. Humble me Lord, that I may be the wife you desire me to be. I pray that my husband and I can reconcile and overcome anything that we face, together, in Jesus name AMEN!

Prayer Of The Day – Intentional Intimacy With God

Dear Lord, I am so sorry that I have been neglecting intentional intimacy with you. The last few days and weeks have been ridiculously crazy, leaving my head spinning and my heart weary.  Each day gets worse as I stray from you. Please grab me and draw me close to you. I pray that today I set time aside to read your Word and pray fervently. I ask for your help. Holy Spirit convict my heart, giving me a passion that will never cease, and turn my heart to you. I also pray for my husband.  As he leads our family I ask that you give him strength and that he too gives priority to spending intentional time with you in Jesus name AMEN!

Prayer Of The Day – Reliance On God

Dear Lord, Please forgive me for my lack of faith. So often I cry out in fear. I know I will always be in need of you, but please help me to rely on you more! I pray I can trust you with my husband, my child, my finances, my job, etc.  May your power sustain me and may I live in confidence of your provision for me.  Thank you for everything you do, including the small answers to prayer that confirm in my heart just how much you love me.  You are a good God and I appreciate your loving kindness, your grace, your patience with me, and your might!  May your will be done in my life as I trust in you! AMEN!
