All That Granny Did: Leaving A Godly Legacy

This is a guest post by Donna Mott who is sharing about her memories of her late grand mother and the legacy she left.  This is great inspiration about leaving a Godly legacy behind.  Donna writes:  My grandma died recently on a Friday. We called her Granny. She had Alzheimer’s and we had really already lost her a little piece at a time. She had not known who I was for quite a while when I would visit her at the nursing home. During these last few sad days I have thought of all the wonderful memories I’ve had of Granny. One of the many memories that stands out in my mind is that I would sit next to her and she would play and sing

Children Are Always A Blessing

I grew up in a big family. There have always been children around me to nurture and to play with. When I turned 18, I became a teacher’s aid at a preschool–a profession I stayed in for nearly 8 years, even through moving to different states. I spent so many hours each day communicating with 2-4 year olds, getting to know them, helping them, teaching them, and facilitating their play. After my husband and I tied the knot, we traveled to Africa where we spent 4 months immersed in a culture I was not familiar with, a language I couldn’t speak, and yet, I figured out quickly that the children laughed just as easily as they did in my home town half way across the planet.

We do this by getting professional family portraits taken of us. Photography is an art. It is an art that is widely accessible to just about everyone these days. Although many people have the ability to snap photos, there
