Seeing The Statue Of Liberty In NYC

When we were on the east coast this last fall, Eliott asked us if we would be seeing the Statue of Liberty. It is one of those iconic pieces of history that catches his eye quickly whether it is in a book or in a commercial or in Red Robin! He is fascinated by her. We knew we would be spending some time in upstate New York for a few days, but we were not sure if we would make it to the city. We were planning on flying out of New Jersey so I thought at best we could see her on our way to the airport. Turns out we ended staying a night in NYC! It all worked out so wonderfully. Not only

Our 10 Year Wedding Anniversary Music Video: “I Get To Love You”

To celebrate our 10 year wedding anniversary, Aaron and I compiled flashback footage from throughout our marriage and made a cute music video to the song “I Get To Love You” by Ruelle. We used small point and shoot cameras, nice cameras, iPhones, and a video camera to record at different times throughout our marriage. Visiting The Roloff Farm During Pumpkin Season | Vlog #18

Jeremy grew up on his family farm just outside of Portland, Oregon. We have loved getting to know Jeremy and Audrey. They are passionate about encouraging marriages just like we are. They launched a site called Beating 50 Percent that has some awesome resources for couples. This fall we took the kids to visit the Roloff Farm during pumpkin season. Unfortunately, the weather was terrible. As we arrived we had heard the news that a tornado had ripped through a small town on the coast not too far from

Why We Decided To Take A Family “Babymoon” To Maui

My family and I just got back from the most beautiful vacation in Maui. After all the personal transitions we have experienced this last year and to celebrate with a family babymoon before Baby Wyatt joins us in November, we thought it would be fun to explore Maui with our other two little birds. Babymoons have been on the rise the last few years. As a special way to celebrate life before it dramatically changes with another life coming into the world, people go on a “babymoon” somewhere fun and relaxing to soak up what life is like before it changes. We didn’t feel the need to get away alone to celebrate our 3rd child joining us. Instead we desired to bring our kids and let it
