Dear Lord,
I feel like in my marriage my husband and I have become too comfortable with each other, too use to each other, too insensitive to each other. We are confident that neither of us is going anywhere and so we sometimes do not give as much thought to our response and the affects they can have on us. I am guilty at snapping at my husband in irritability, frustration, anger, and sometimes no reason at all. Our negative responses stir a counter response that can be just as hurtful, and soon we find ourselves upset at one another. It is no way to live. I pray you would anoint our hearts with a touch of kindness. Help us to have self-control and help us to have self-control in our responses to each other. Please do not let anything keep us from being kind to each other in Jesus’ name AMEN!
