Dear God,
Your Holy Word tells us not to be in debt. Unfortunately this world is running against your ways, and the enemy has husbands and wives trapped into being deceived that debt is acceptable. Please fill them with a desire to be debt free. Help husbands be on the same page financially with their wives. Help them to work together to reach a common goal to be debt free! Show them how beneficial it is to not owe anything to anyone but love. Help those who spend frivolously to have self-control, help those who need organizing, or those who save but don’t give towards tithe. Bring financial peace to marriages, the way your will intends for us. Guide us as we become responsible to how we spend, save, and give. Remove the love of money from our hearts and help us to be good stewards in Jesus name AMEN!
Romans 13:8
Let no debt remain outstanding, except the continuing debt to love one another, for whoever loves others has fulfilled the law.
