Dear Lord,
I don’t want to hide from You. I don’t want to pretend everything is ok. I don’t want to push away and neglect the hurt that I feel. I don’t want to masquerade. I am not perfect. My life is messy. And I need You so desperately. I surrender my life to You completely. All of the pain, all of the failure, all of the sin, I lay it bare before You and ask that You cleanse me, heal me, and make me new. I am so sorry for the times I try to hide from You and from my husband. I am motivated by fear and embarrassment. Please help me to be courageous enough to be transparent, to pray to You more often and to talk with my husband more often. Fill me with Your strength as I unveil myself in Jesus’ name AMEN!
