Prayer Of The Day – Loving Your Spouse Through Hard Seasons

Dear Lord,

Thank you for the gift of marriage.  I know that you have given us the marriage relationship to enjoy, but also to refine us.  May you help me and other wives to love our husbands, especially through the hard seasons, the challenges, the trials, and the tension.  May your power lift us up, may your Holy Spirit guide us, and may you give us the self-control and the love to lavish our spouses.  Give us eyes to see when our husbands are hurting, and compassion to comfort.  Fill our days with peace and joy regardless of circumstance.  May your will be done and may you be glorified in Jesus name AMEN!
